Ride-Tek MTA is a Victorian Motorcycle Training Organisation accredited by VicRoads to issue Motorcycle Learner Permits and Motorcycle Licences in the state of Victoria. We are based at Sandown Racecourse [Noble Park] with branches in Sale, Bairnsdale & Wangaratta and proudly serve our valued customers statewide.



What we do for You

Our job is to make sure you meet the skills and the legal requirements to obtain your permit or licence. We provide courses seven days a week catering for every level of experience.

History of Ridetek MTA

Ridetek was originally founded as part of the Transport Driver Training Corporation, over nine years ago.  Ridetek MTA shared their premises with Transport Driver Training at 313 Hammond Rd, Dandenong South.

We have now opened additional training facilities at Sandown Racecourse [Noble Park], Sale, Bairnsdale & Wangaratta. In 2008 Ride-Tek MTA moved it's offices to Sandown Racecourse.

Our Reputation

Under the guidance of Mel Baker [Owner] and Ian Sanders, both long-term active motorcyclists, Ridetek MTA has established itself as one of Victoria's leading providers of motorcycle rider training. Our reputation has been built on safety – the safety of our students is our top priority.

Mel Baker is also the holder of a Motorcycling Australia Coaching licence.

Our Objective

When training with Ride-Tek MTA, you will be taught how to ride a motorcycle safely, not just how to pass the test at the end of the day.  This objective is met by the combined experience of Mel, Ian and their team of instructors’ which spans far in excess of 65 years. All are still very active and enthusiastic motorcyclists.
